The 3rd meeting of the European project “INCUBA – Cross Border agrifood incubators” took place on Tuesday, 18 February 2020 in the head office of the Lead Beneficiary (Region of Western Greece) in the city of Patras, Greece.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the partnership from Greece and Italy as well as the representative of the Joint Secretary of the Interreg V-A “Greece-Italy 2014-2020” Programme (Info-Point Officer), Katerina Kapota.

The meeting revolved around the evaluation of the project progress by work package and partner so far, the discussion about important issues related to project’s expenditures and the absorption rate of the program’s funds. Finally, future activities and steps for achieving the project objectives were analyzed and planned.

The Incuba project aims to support, boost competitiveness of the agri-food businesses and help them penetrate into new markets internationally. The operation and strengthening of incubators in agri-food businesses play a key role in achieving the above objective.
