The project aims at:

• Searching and selecting innovative ideas,
• Training and counseling support services for start-ups,
• Linking and matching businesses with other SMEs, collaborative and public utilities,
• Developing business models for innovative ideas,
• Interconnection actions with potential investors.

In addition to the above, an innovation ecosystem (a network supported by an online platform) will also be created in order to activate all the actors involved in the innovation chain (Institutions, SMEs, collective bodies, research centers, investors etc.).

The main actions that will be materialized include of:

• Dissemination of information, of actions and results
• Organization of conferences and workshops at local and regional level for the activation of stakeholders and networks (SEADE, Agrofood enterprise, etc.)
• Creation and dissemination of a model of innovative services for agri-food businesses
• Creation of a quality standard for SMEs in the agro-food sector, catering and hospitality and its implementation at Region level
• Enhancement of existing incubators in Patra and Bari and creation of a new one in the Chamber of Ilia
• Selection by public invitation of 10 business ideas for participation in incubator model and know-how exchange actions in Greece and Italy
• Training actions to improve the institutional capacity of the actors involved (Regions, Chambers, Associations of Agricultural Cooperatives, Societies, etc.)
• Composing proposals for cross-border policy aimed at enhancing young entrepreneurship in the agri-food sector.
