The Region of Western Greece organizes an information event in Aigio in the context of the European project: «Cross Border Agrifood Incubators – INCUBA » of the European Territorial Cooperation program Interreg Greece – Italy 2014-2020, on:
«Agri-food in the Region of Western Greece – Entrepreneurship and innovation in the agri-food sector»
The event will be greeted by the Regional Governor of Western Greece, Mr. Nektarios Farmakis and the Deputy Regional Governor for Rural Development, Mr. Theodoros Vassilopoulos.
The public will have the opportunity to be informed about new technologies and methodologies that can help reduce inputs and increase production as well as new services that will emerge which in turn create new specialties and new jobs in the field of agri-food. At the same time, good practices will be presented in the utilization of agricultural waste both in the food industry as a whole and in energy production.
Finally, the European project INCUBA will be presented, which aims to support the creation, innovation, competitiveness and internationalization of start-ups and SMEs active in the field of agri-food, through the strengthening of existing and the creation of new incubators.
The event will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 18:00 in the Hall of the Cultural Center of Aigio “Alekos Megaris”, 19 Nikolaou Plastira and Kanellopoulou. Due to the observance of the health protocol and the limited places, order of priority will be observed.
